ISLAMABAD: Terming the nation as unsafe, Federal Ministry Chaudhry Nisar Ahmed Khan has announced withdrawal of Rangers, FC and other paramilitary forces from the civilian areas.
Giving press briefing over New Security Policy made in consultation with security and intelligence agencies, he was of the view that Rangers and FC personnel were not security guards and that the best thing was to use them was to depute them in their real area of work.

He also announced withdrawal of security from all personalities except the president, prime minister and chief justice of the Pakistan.
There are forces which can play their role in maintaining law and order and paramilitary troops are not feasible in civil areas, he added.
Missing Persons
“A task force has been established to coordinate the issue of missing persons,” Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader said.
Civil Armed Forces
The minister said the comprehensive security policy will be announced after the consultation of civil armed forces. The move is likely after the withdrawal of paramilitary forces from the civilian areas.
Model Islamabad City
Keeping in view its significance, the minister declared making the capital city as the model one in law and order.
“Immediate measures to be taken against non-registered vehicles and underage drivers, whoever they are.”
“All the police stations of the city will be computerized within three months.”

With growing number of incidents of terrorism and casual, the government decides to bring Rescue Service 1122 in the areas where it doesn’t exist, Chaudhry Nisar further said.

After announcing closing down Golra Toll Plaza, PML-N minister also announced to close down all toll plazas.
Keeping Record of Domestic Servants in Islamabad
The minister urged all citizens to keep related data of their servants including from where they belong and how long they have been serving to eliminate robberies and theft cases from the capital area.
E-Surveillance of Islamabad
Another thing to make the capital city as the model city, E-Surveillance system to be evolved into the city for proper surveillance.
