RAWALPINDI: An anti terrorism court has indicted former military ruler of the country, Pervez Musharraf in judges detention case.
Former dictator, who remained the chief of army staff of Pakistan Army, has been facing a number of cases including Akber Bugti, former chief minister of Balochistan province, and Constitution Breaching cases.
His luxurious farm house in suburb of the capital city of Islamabad has been declared as sub jail where he has been put under house arrest.
On November 3, 2007, the dictator has suspended chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry for ensuring law implementation in the government affairs with a number of judges and put them in detention.
The judge of Anti-Terrorism Court Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi heard the case in the sub jail. Following the indictment, the court adjourned the hearing till June 21.
Musharraf had ruled over the south Asian state from October 11 1999 to September 2008.
