Islamabad: Facing a tough challenge of worst ever power crisis in the country, future prime minister Nawaz Sharif seeks help of his Chinese counterpart in civil nuclear energy to meet the power demand.
Talking with Chinese Prime Minister Li Kiqiang in a meeting at Islamabad, both of the leaders dicussed matter of mutual interest as well as sort out future strategies to further strengthen relations of neighbouring countries.
According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leaders Mian Shahbaz Sharif‚ Chaurdy Nisar Ali Khan and Senator Ishaq Dar were also present on the occasion.
“Pakistan is facing acute shortage of power and China can help it overcoming through provision of civil nuclear technology,” Nawaz says.
On the occasion, Li invited PML-N leader to visit China after taking oath as prime minister of the country.
