ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has given the authorities one week time to initiate proceedings against the Inspector General Police, Bani Amin for his alleged role in the escape of Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf .
The verdict was given, here on Tuesday, by Justice Shaukat Aziz of the court.
The deputy attorney general told the court that a three-member penal has been constituted and its details sent to the establishment division. The panel members are, namely, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Shahid Rasheed and Shahidullah Baig.
He also said inquiry of the incident is progressing at its normal pace and will be completed soon.
