BANGALORE: West Indian Chris Gayle while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday (today) reached a milestone of scoring the fastest century in just 30 balls in Indian Premier League (IPL).
He hit 11 sixes and eight fours to reach the fastest century of the IPL.
The match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors is underway.
Earlier record in IPL was held by Yusuf Pathan for scoring ton in just 37 balls.
International record for the fastest century is held by Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi off 37 balls.
