RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench on Wednesday granted interim bail to former military ruler General (retd) Perverz Musharraf in former prime minister Benazir Bhuttto murder case.
The court accepted the bail plea of the former president and granted him interim bail till April 24 in the case.
The bench also directed Pervez Musharraf to submit two surety bonds of Rs500,000 each.
Musharraf, who had been blocked by the country election tribunal from election, is currently facing series of cases including Benazir Bhutto and Akbar Bugti murder cases and judges’ sacking and house arrest case.
He returned to the country in March after ending self imposed exile and filed nomination papers from four different constituencies.
