Multan: Faisal Saleh Hayat and Jamshed Dasti has challenged rejection of their nomination papers by Returning Officers in the Multan registry of the Lahore High Court.
The third phase of the general elections has began today and the candidates whose papers were rejected by the ROs have started to challenge the decisions in the high courts.
The Multan bench of the LHC admitted Jamshed Dasti’s application for hearing against disqualification. His counsel said that Mr Dasti had challenged decision of Muzaffargarh District and Session judge of disqualifying him from contesting election.
Faisal Saleh Hayat has also filed appeal against rejection of his nomination papers for National Assembly NA-87 Jhang.
