LHC bars ministry from allocating Hajj quota

Karachi: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday barred the Ministry of Religious Affairs till next order from allocating quota to Hajj tour operators.

During the hearing of a case pertaining to Hajj Policy 2013, the LHC remarked that the allotment of the quota was apparently based of malafide intention.

During previous hearing of the case on March 4, the court issued notices to the federation and the Ministry of Religious Affairs for March 18 (today).
