Islamabad: Pakistan’s Ministry of Water and Power claimed on Wednesday that electricity shortfall in the country has ended.
According to a local news channel DawnNews, the ministry spokesman said the production of electricity is 8,000 megawatts while the demand is 7,875 megawatts.
Pakistan experienced a national blackout Sunday with no power in most of the country including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta and Azad Kashmir.
