Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S4 is likely to have new payWave app and mobile payment system thanks to Visa.
In this regard, Samsung and Visa have signed a global deal that is aimed at accelerating mobile payments (Near Field Communication-NFC).
According to SamMobile, last year both companies have tested the mobile payments in mega sports event London Olympics 2012 which went well enough to reach the deal.
According to the deal, Samsung will pre-load the payWave app on to every NFC enabled smartphone for mobile payments. Galaxy S4, being the biggest release of Samsung, is likely to be the first smartphone to have the app.
Furthermore, Galaxy S4 release date is nearly confirmed on March 14 as company’s vice president nodded over the date.
JK Shin was quoted by a newspaper that the most anticipated Android phone of 2013 will be launched in New York on March 14.
