Islamabad: Pakistan’s lawmaker from tribal area, Hamidullah Jan Afridi on Sunday said that the Pakistan Army operation in Federally Administered Tribal areas shall be halted immediately.
Talking to media, the member of National Assembly (MNA) said that if the operation would not stop within 48 hours then thousands of people would be on roads to lauch a protest.
The lawmaker further said that for the second time any person from Fata has been appointed as a governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhua (KPK) but the government had not taken the 11 tribal lawmakers into confidence over the issue.
He further said that they had tried to contact the president over the issue but their all efforts had gone in vain.
