Karachi: Shahrukh Jatoi, the prime accused in Shahzeb Khan’s murder case, was 19 years old as he was born on November 27, 1993, revealed his birth and academic record.
Sources said Jatoi’s birth and academic certificates were submitted to the board assigned to identify hi age.
Earlier reports declared Jatoi a minor, but the recent report said he was above 18.
The final report is expected to be presented in the court on Monday.
The new medical board was formed after the court rejected a report made by a police surgeon Dr Jalil Qadri, saying he was not eligible to do so. Qadri’s report said Jatoi was between 17 and 18.
Jatoi, along with three other nominated accused—Siraj Talpur, Sajjad Talpur and their employee Ghulam Murtaza Lashari, is accused of killing Shahzeb, 20, in Defence area of Karachi on December 25 over a petty dispute.
