Lahore: British boxer Amir Khan on Monday said that Pakistani cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi is his good friend and he has invited him in his wedding ceremony.
Talking to media in Lahore while busy in shopping with his family, the world famous boxer said that he has a good relationship with Shahid Afridi and he had invited him in his weeding and valima ceremony.
“My weeding will take place in New York while the valima ceremony will be in London,” he added.
The boxer of Pakistani descent said that wherever he goes, Pakistan was his real identity. I want to make the nation proud by winning more and more boxing titles, he added.
Amir said that he wanted to take part in the boxing circle for the next 30 more years.
The boxer further advised Pakistan government to provide facilities to the emerging boxers as there was a lot of talent in the country which is capable of bringing world titles in Pakistan.
