Lakki Marwat: Deaths in an attack on Pakistan Army Colony in Lakki Marwat, a district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhua province, have raised to 25 on Saturday.
According to sources, militants attacked the army colony in Serai Naurang town of the Lakki Marwat at 3am with automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades.
Sources said that 13 security personnel, including four Frontier Constabulary crew, were killed in the incident.
Twelve of more than 30 militants who launched the attack were also killed when security forces retaliated.
Security forces cordoned off the area and additional personnel were deployed in the area to counter the militants’ offensive.
Meanwhile, 10 people of a home were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a house in the same area.
