Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday formed two-member separate bench to hear Kamran Faisal, the NAB investigator in Rental power case who was found dead in room, death case.
The bench headed by Justice Jawad S. Khawaja would hear the case in a court room 2 from Thursday (tomorrow).
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry resumed the hearing the rental power case on Wednesday.
During the hearing, the bench changed a note submitted by the Registrar Office regarding Faisal’s death into a petition and ordered that another bench will hear the case separately from Rental Power Projects case.
The court in its order said that Faisal’s family, friends and public had expressed dissatisfaction over the NAB’s inquiry over the death of the investigator.
The court further said that it was the court’s duty to provide justice.
