Mian Channu: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation officer Kamran Faisal, who was found dead in his home, was tortured before death, his uncle claimed.
Faisal had been working with another NAB investigation officer Asghar Khan to investigate into a multi-billion Rental Power Projects case against Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
His uncle said that while giving bath to Faisal’s body, he saw marks of torture on his body.
Faisal was found dead on Friday at his home in the Federal Lodges. According to police, the NAB official committed suicide.
An autopsy report has also been concluded and samples have been sent to a laboratory for forensic report, which would likely to be obtained in 7 to 10 days
Final post-mortem report would be prepared after receiving forensic report, hospital sources said.
