Karachi: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned an immediate meeting of coalition partners here in Karachi to discuss the current situation of the country.
Sources said that the president had summoned the meeting after the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s order to arrest the prime minister within 24 hours. “The president would discuss the current situation with his partners.”
Pakistan’s political situation turned dramatically after the Supreme Court’s order at the time when Canadian-Pakistani Tahir-ul-Qadri with thousands of his followers is present in the capital.
