Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf on Friday expressed best wishes for the team in the second Twenty20 match against India.
Pakistan is leading the series by 1-0. Brilliant innings from Shaoib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez helped Pakistan to win the first T20 by five wickets against India.
Talking to media, the PCB Chairman said that the whole nation was praying for Pakistan’ win and hopefully the team would not disappoint its fans.
“Win or loss is part of a game but the boys will work hard to win the second T20,” he added.
He further said that the advice from Pakistan’s batting consultant Inzamam-ul-Haq was helping players to improve their skills.
“There is a lot of cricketing talent in our country,” he said adding that Mohammad Irfan was the best example of it.
The chairman also applauded Mohammad Hafeez’s effort in the previous T20 and said that he played a captain’s innings to steer the team to win the match.
