Lahore: Abbottabad Falcons pull off a nail biting victory over Quetta Bears in a one-over eliminator after the match got tied when only a single was required.
Abbottabad Falcons, batting first, set a minimal target of 126 with a striking five wicket haul by Jalat Khan tied with Quetta Bears 126 for 7.
Defending short target of 126, Abbottabad’s bowling attack kept Quetta in check with strict lines and lengths and keeping scoring rate below six an over for most part of the innings. Jalat was supported by a tight spell of 4-2-8-2 by Arun Lal.
However, quick 31 by Naushad Irshad and an unbeaten 26 by Arun Lal bring Quetta to equalizer. But Junaid Khan bowled an amazing last over to bring the game to tie the game.
Quetta has lost all the matches in the tournament.
