London: Less than three months after the official launch of the iPhone 5, a French Web site Nowhereelse has spotted alleged pictures of iPhone5’s successor, commonly referred to as the iPhone 5S, on a forum run by iPhone5parts.
The pictures show an iPhone that has an exterior that looks identical to the iPhone 5.
“Although the exterior of the shell does not differ from that of the shell of the iPhone 5, the positioning of the fixing points of some internal components such as the motherboard or the front of the device suggests indeed that it could well be a spare part designed to equip the iPhone 5S,” the website reported.
The iPhone maker faces stiffer competition from rivals like South Korea’s Samsung that are willing to bring out new designs for their smartphones at least once — and often more than once — a year.
