Karachi: Rough estimation predicts that around 5,00,000 (or 0.5 million) visitors are expected to visit five-day international book exhibition in port city.
The mega event was inaugurated by Provincial Education Minister Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq this morning.
At least 17 international publishers from Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, UAE and other countries are participating among more than 200 local publishers at expo centre.
Public is taking huge interest in such a large variety of books as 300 book stalls were arranged in the expo.
The exhibition will be run for five days.
