Karachi: Following his ouster from Cabinet few days back, former Privatization Minister Ghaus Bakhsh Mahar has also resigned from the Provincial Presidency post of Pakistan Muslim League – Q Sindh.
Ghaus Bakhsh Mahr has sent his resignation to President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain though the approval is still awaited.
Earlier, Prime Minister Raja Raja Pervez Ashraf sacked Mahar from the Minister ship on Friday (November 23) over some conflicts with the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh.
Ghaus Bakhsh Mahar was elected the MNA from Sindh on PML-Q ticket and was appointed as the privatization minister in former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani’s tenure.
