Jahanian: A bus carrying Indian fishermen, who were released from Karachi on Sunday, met with an accident near Jahanian on Monday.
Rescue sources told The News Tribe correspondent that the bus was on a way towards Lahore when it met with an accident. They said that several fishermen received minor injuries in the mishap, adding that the injured had been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
Pakistan released 15 Indian fishermen — who were detained by the authorities for fishing in the country’s territorial waters — from Karachi’s jail on Sunday.
The fishermen will be handed over to Indian authorities at Wagah Border.
