Eid-ul-Azha would be celebrated on October 27 as Zil Haj moon has been sighted in Lahore here on Wednesday.
The announcement of moon sighting was made by Punjab Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. According to reports the moon couldĀ be sighted with naked eyes.
Central Ruet-e-Hilal Commitee would make formal announcement of moon after receiving evidences from different parts of the country.
Earlier, Meteorological Department said in a statement thatĀ the crescent would be seen easily as the sky was clear in most part of the country. It said thatĀ Eid-ul-Azaha would be celeberated on October 27.However, final decision would be taken by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
