Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday rejected the plea to register the second FIR in Benazi Bhutto murder case.
The five-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani was hearing the petition.
Aslam Chaudhry, the petitioner, withdrew his plea after the bench raised the abjection that only the family member of the victims could file petition to register second FIR.
Chaudhry had filed application in the SC register the second FIR in Benazir Bhutto murder case to include the names of former President Pervez Musharraf, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Rehman Malik, Babar Awan and others.
