Birmingham: Malala Yousafzai, who was shot and injured in Swat last Tuesday, is still in critical condition in Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Doctor Dave Roser, medical director of the hospital, on Tuesday told media that Malala Yousafzai’s condition was still not out of danger. He, however, said there were chances of improvement in her condition.
The doctor said that police made some arrests in Birmingham after some people attempted to force their way into the ward, where the injured girl was being treated. He said although nobody could enter the ward, the incident was of grave concern.
Dave Roser said that the men who tried to enter the ward introduced themselves as relatives of Malala Yousafzai.
Meanwhile, police said no suspect was arrested last night in the hospital. The police said that two men arrived in the hospital to inquired after the health of Malala Yousafzai but were stopped in the waiting area.
