Islamabad: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira Thursday said that the letter for Swiss authorities is currently being drafted by the government according to the Supreme Court’s order.
Talking to media representatives in Islamabad, the minister said that the law minister Farooq.h.Naek would be presenting the new draft before the Supreme Court tomorrow (Friday).
“The matter is progressing towards resolution.”
He said the earlier letter was also drafted in line with the court orders, however, it expressed reservations on a few points. Now the objections are being removed and the letter is being penned exactly in accordance with the court’s ‘wish’.
When asked if the issue will be resolved tomorrow, he said hopefully whatever happens tomorrow will take things towards betterment.
