Karachi: Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Perviaz Ashraf has announced Rs2 billion relief package for the rain and flood hit people in the country.
The prime minister made the announcement during aerial visit of the rain hit areas of Balochistan and Sindh and directed the authorities to provide 25,000 tents to the effectees immediately.
PM Ashraf, who announced equal relief package for South Punjab and Balochistan, also directed the authorities Rs200 million package to Kashmoor and Jacobabad districts of Sindh province.
Mirpur Khas and Sukkur will also get Rs100 million while the flood effectees in Gotki will receive Rs70 million worth relief package.
