Karachi: Three days ban on pillion riding in Karachi has been ended on Tuesday as the Sindh government has not issued new notification to extend the ban.
The provincial government imposed ban of the pillion riding of motorcycle on August 18 with immediate effect for three days after gun men killed 11 people in different parts of the city on Friday night.
The Sindh High Court (SHC) chief justice took notice after the police arrested hundreds of youngsters on the eve of the Eid-ul-Fitr on charges of pillion riding and directed the magistrate to visit the police stations to release the arrested citizens on easy terms and conditions.
