Islamabad: Eid ul Fitar, considered to be a reward after fasting for a month in Muslim world, is being celebrated across Pakistan.
Large gatherings of prayers held across Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and in some mosques of Peshawar.
Eid, a 3-day event for Muslims, sees a beautiful combination of stylish and new clothes with kids taking Eidi (a type of cash reward) from their elders.
Visiting relatives and friends to share happiness with them is also another highlight of the day.
Though prices of eatables particularly Sweets and confectionery are usually soared before the Eid, still their sales surge before and during the Eid days.
