Islamabad: The government of Pakistan Sunday has suspended mobile services across Pakistan, in order to subvert the terror threat received by Interior Ministry on the occasion of Muslim festival, Eid-ul-Fitr.
Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik also informed regarding the step on Sunday saying that in view of terrorists attack during Eid-ul-Fitr the mobile service in the parts of country will be suspended.
According to reports, the mobile services were suspended in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, in order to avoid any contact between terror elements who wanted to sabotage the joy and happiness of Muslim festival, Eid, to be celebrated in Pakistan tomorrow.
The Karachiites were also facing problems to greet their relatives and friends on the occasion of Eid as mobile services were suspended in red zone area and other parts of Karachi, the biggest city of Pakistan.
In addition, almost four mobile companies suspended their services in Multan and Quetta while there were also complains of weaker signals in several parts of Lahore.
