Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that he would go to court against PML-N lawmaker Khuwaja Asif, who accused him of misusing funds of Shaukat Khanan Cancer Hospital.
Speaking to media on Tuesday, Khan said that Nawaz Sharif was hiding behind Chaudhry Nisar and Khuwaja Asif and failed to respond to his 11 questions.
“I am going to move the Supreme Court of Pakistan against Khuwaja Asif for hurling allegation on me and Salman Akram Raja would be my lawyer,” the PTI chief said.
He said that the Nawaz-League wanted to damage his credibility and ruin the Shaukat Khanam like it did in the past. Imran Khan demanded of the CJ to immediately take up his plea because N-Leagues election campaign would be based on Shaukat Khanam.
Khan said that he was going to construct Shaukat Khanam Hospital’s in Peshawar and Karachi since overwhelming majority of the patients didn’t found place in a single cancer hospital.
The PTI chairman said that he had built an international slandered university in Mianwali where 80 percent of poor students are receiving education.
Khan said that he would have to also collect funds for the Namal university as well.
