Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairnman Imran Khan of using donations of Shaukat Khanum Hospital in real estate speculations abroad.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, PML-N leaders Khuwaja Asif, Mushahidullah Khan and Pervez Rashid leveled serious allegations against the PTI chairman and challenged they would prove the accusations in the court.
Khuwaja Asif said that Imran Khan transferred Rs 4 billion of Zakat and Sadkaat to Dubai and Masqat and invested them in Real State speculations through other companies.
He said that the company, through which Shaukat Khanum Trust and Imran Khan invested their money, declared 64 losses.
Asif accused Khan of money laundering and said that not only he put the donations on gambling but also lost the money.
The Nawaz-league leaders said that Imran Kahn and Shaukat Khanum Trust were responsible to respond instead of the Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf as the PTI had nothing to with what Khan had been doing.
“Shaukhat Khanum is a good welfare organization and we don’t want to inflict any damage to it,” Khuwaja Asif said and added that people should be let know how their money, they gave for cancer patients, was being used. “We want all this money back,” he said.
The PML-N leader said how would Imran Khan would be able to maintain national exchequer if was unable to do so with Shaukat Khanum Trust.
