Peshawar: At least 13 people were killed and two others injured in a blast in passenger van in Lower Orakzai Agency of Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region, official sources said on Wednesday.
The sources said that the incident occurred at Sipah road in border area of Kohat and the agency, adding that the van was moving towards Hangu.
“Apparently, the explosive material was planted in the van.”
Security Forces and members of Aman Lashkar (Peace Committee)Â rushed to spot and cordoned off the area while and shifted the bodies and injured to Kohat hospital.
 “Seven passengers were died at the spot while six others succumbed to their injured in hospital,” the sources told The News Tribe correspondent.
Orakzai is the only tribal agency of the country which does not border Afghanistan.
