Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday announced to indict Malik Riaz, a real estate tycoon, for contempt charges on July 16.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Shakirullah Jan was hearing the case against Riaz.
The bench rejected Riaz’s plea seeking immunity for his non-appearance in the court and ruled that he is bound to appear in the hearings until the court directs him not to.
