Faisalabad: At least two heart patients died in Faisalabad Institute of cardiology on Tuesday as doctors continued their cold-blooded strike for the 14th consecutive day in Punjab for increase in salaries.
On the other hand the provincial government has been putting its efforts against the protesting doctors, deploying doctors from the Amy Medical Corps and inducting new doctors through Punjab Public Service Commission.
Police have arrested several doctors and registered case against them. The Young Doctors’ Association has refused to assume duties until their demands are met.
