Karachi: Lawyers on Friday continued their staged against conspiracy being hatched against the Supreme Court and took out rallies and boycotted court proceedings to show solidarity with the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhamamd Chaudhry.
 Lawyers boycotted proceedings at the Sindh High Court, City Court and Malir Court. Due to the boycott, pending cases could not be heard.
 On Saturday, a joint meeting of all Sindh Bar Association will be held while the boycott of courts will continue on Monday.
 Lawyers also held rallies on the call of the Lahore High Court Bar Rawalpindi Bench and District Courts bar associations.
 Like other parts of the country, lawyers also took out a rally in Peshawar and other cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However a decision to boycott court proceedings is yet to be made in the province.
