New Delhi: India has successfully test-fired a short range air-to-surface ballistic missile named Akash, Indian media reported on Saturday.
According to reports, the missile was fired from a launching pad in Odisha, Chandipur state. India has been boosting its missile program as part of nation’s efforts to strengthen is deterrence against archival Pakistan.
Recently New Delhi tested an intercontinental missile that could hit Beijing, another rival of India.
