Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharifon on Thursday said that re-opening of Nato supply without the implementation of joint resolutions of the parliament would be a shameful act.
Talking to Geo News anchor Kamran Khan, Nawaz Sharif said that joint resolutions of the parliament stated that the supplies would only be restored if United States (US) would apologise for Salala attack which killed almost 24 innocent Pakistani soldiers.
“The resolutions also state that action will be taken against all culprits involved in Salala attack,” he said.
The PML-N president said that how a nation depending on the money of US could demand them to apologise.
“The government has never kept his words,” Nawaz said adding that government has always betrayed from his promises.
The US has not apologized even when it was necessary when three innocent Pakistani’s were killed brutally by CIA agent Raymond Davis.
Responding to a question regarding new cases on party leadership, Nawaz said that these all actions were nothing more than revengeful activities against him by government.
“Whenever I visit Sindh, government feels a pain,” the sharif said.
The President further said that he would not discuss regarding the appointment of new Election Commissioner and his party members would gave the party stance in the parliamentary committee, presided by PPP Leader Khurshid Shah.
