Islamabad: A high level meeting presided by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is in progress at Prime Minister House in Islamabad in order to review the implementation of Parliamentary Committee of National Security (PCNS) recommendations.
In a statement issued, PM house spokesperson said that meeting discussed issues regarding the security of Pakistan and current situation of the region.
The meeting was attended by Army Chief Ashfaq Pervez kiyani, DG ISI Lft General Zaheer-ul-Islam, Pakistan’s Ambassador to United States (US) Sheery Rehman and Federal ministers.
“The meeting also discussed relationship with Nato, Aisaf and US,” he said adding that the meeting agreed to build relationship with the US in accordance with the recommendations of PCNS.
It is to be mentioned here that US Special envoy to Pak-Afghan Marc Grossman arrives Pakistan today in order to negotiate on the PCNS recommendations.
