Islamabad: Lashkari Raisani, a senior figure of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from Balochistan, has resigned from Senate.
Raisani submitted his resignation to the Senate secretariat on Tuesday. According to sources, Raisai, who had earlier resigned as the president of PPP Balochistan, has decided to resign from the Senate as well for being neglected by the party in decision making and reluctance of leadership to address the problems, facing Balochistan.
Political analysts are of the view that the resignation of Raisani would prove to be a disaster for the party’s efforts to settle Balochistan issue.
