Karachi: At least three people were injured in the violent protest that continued across Lyari, an area of Karachi, sources said on Friday.
The sources said that the protestors attacked bullet proof police van and a shop with petrol bomb while incidents of tyre burning and stone throwing were also reported from the area.
“The protestors were chanting slogans against Sindh government and warned government that they would face serious consequences if any police operation would be launched in the area,” sources added.
The police and Rangers reached the spot after the violent incidents in order to avoid any further violence.
