Karachi: As per the ongoing load management plan, CNG stations across Sindh including Karachi were closed from 9am Friday for 24 hours. The stations will remain closed till 9am Saturday.
Public transport remained thin on roads in Karachi and other major cities of the province, as majority of the public transports have switched over to CNG from diesel.
Commuters suffered a lot due to non-availability of public transport. The taxies and rickshaws’ drivers had a field day, as they charged the commuters at their whims to make the most of the situation.
