Karachi: Pakistan Publishers and Book Sellers Association Chairman Aziz Khalid has announced that the 7th Karachi International Book Fair will begin on December 16 till December 20 at the Karachi Expo Centre.
He said this while speaking at a news conference here at a local hotel on Wednesday along with Pakistan Library Association Chairman Professor Malahat Kareem Sherwani, he said that the book fair will continue till 20th of December.
Khalid said publishers from America, India, Iran, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey and England will participate in the exhibition.
“National Book Foundation and the Ministry of Education were supporting the event.”, he added
Convenor Book Fair, Owais Mirza Jameel said that the fair will be held at the Expo Centre’s Hall No 1, 2 and 3 where approximately 290 stalls will be set up.
The exhibition timings will be 10 am to 9 pm.
