Islamabad:Â President Asif Ali Zardari will remain under treatment in Dubai, said a statement issued here on Wednesday.
The statement noted that president’s condition was stable after initial tests, however, some medicine recently recommended to him might cast negative effects on his health.
The statement added that Zardari would continue routine work when doctors allowed him.
It said that the president’s children insisted him to leave for Dubai. According to the statement, doctors were diagnosing President Asif Ali Zardari for recent onset of pain.
Zardari’s personal doctor Colonel Salman said that the president was in stable condition and routine tests were being carried out.
Meanwhile Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed with him political situation prevailing in the country.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain called the prime minister and expressed concerns for president’s health. The premier told him that the President was out of danger.
