Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that he would soon provide details of his assets.
Addressing a press conference at the residence of columnist Shafqat Mehmood who joined the PTI today, Khan said that he would soon hold a news conference to inform the nation about his assets.
The cricketer-turned politician said that he had sold his flat in London for Rs70 million and brought all the money back to Pakistan through a bank.
He added that he had purchased a farm house in Islamabad for Rs40.5 million. “I am happy over the Chaudhry Nisar’s statement in which he said that the price of my house is Rs1.20 billion,” Khan added.
He said that resignation of Hussain Haqqani’s resignation was a right decision. The PTI chief said appointment of Sherry Rehman seemed to be a correct decision.
Imran Khan said that sending a secret memo was a serious allegation on President Asif Ali Zardari.
