Sharjah: Sri Lanka came back strongly in the last session of the third day against Pakistan by taking three quick wickets in the third and final test at Sharjah Stadium.
Pakistan were 262 for six at stump with captain Misbah-ul-Haq unbeaten at 50 and Abdul Rehman on three.
Left arm pacer Chanaka Welegedara dismissed Younis Khan on 122 with the first delivery of the second new ball and then took the wicket of young Asad Shafiq who scored 16. Adnan Akmal also fell cheaply.
Earlier, Kosala Kulasekara got Azhar Ali (53).
