Lahore: The spokesman of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Fawad Chaudhary commenting on the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants of former military ruler of Pakistan and APML Chief Pervez Musharraf in Akbar Bugti case stated that Bughti was killed in a military operation, and it was not yet confirmed either Bugti committed suicide in the cave or died as resultant of caved in.
He said that the court’s judgment for issuing arrest warrants of APML Chief would open Pandora’s box as the security forces carried out military operations in different areas of the country in different situations on the indication of political leadership and in accordance of constitution of Pakistan, those operations could not be challenged.
He said that it is the worst example and in future any government would not be able to call the military in face of any difficulty because there might be chances of cases against civil, military and governmental machinery. The astonishing decision would create severe consequences, he added.
Fawad elucidated that the court’s decision would encourage the elements that used to challenge every governmental move and this act would strengthen the miscreants’ elements and caused turbulence for peace and law and order situation of the country.
