Lahore: The dengue outbreak continued taking lives of people in LahoreĀ as five more died of the epidemic in the city, taking death toll to 245 in the provincial capital.
Sources said that 28-years-old Abrar, resident of Badami Bagh, lost his life in Meo hospital while Rizwan, 22, Muhammad Umer, 22, Khalid, 34 and Ā Ashraf, 85 were fell prey to dengue at Jinnah hospital.
Meanwhile, 174 new dengue patients have been registered in different hospitals of province during last 24 hours, taking number of dengue fever patients 18,684 in Punjab.
