Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhamma Chaudhry has said that a larger bench would be formed on worsening law and order situation in Balochistan.
He said on Friday that maintaining law and order was the basic responsibility of the government. “We don’t know why the government doesn’t come forward in this regard” he added.
“I ensure the people of Balochistan that the Supreme Court of Pakistan will protect their basic human rights”, he added.
The CJ said that 95 put of 185 missing people of the province had been recovered so far.
